How do we practice being active in our culture? How do we change behavior in society? Move towards a new physical culture during the immersive experience Pilot PC. Connor Schumacher returns to the blackbox and invites you to start moving and build a dynamic Physical Culture together.
A Sci-(non)-fiction research into what it takes to reflect and move through the experience of 2020 with a healthy distance.
Pilot PC is a rave space.
The space is going to move
And we are going to dance.
It will be:
complicated / loud
difficult / energetic
reflective / transformative
social / engaging / at a healthy distance
It will give you space to make decisions
and at the same time manipulate you towards movement
The beat, the words, the decisions, are designed to make you feel alive in your body.
It will be intense.
It is dead serious and it is for your enjoyment
Pilot PC is a space I designed to practice reformatting my body.
Through the persistent and resilient reminder of what dance can do for the body and the mind.
The practice of being human continues.
2020 is no joke, so we better go hard.
What better place to practice – than the rave.
Whoever wants to use this space; you are invited.
Whoever needs this space; it’s there for you to claim.
Pilot PC has no answers.
Dance has no answers.
Yes to the soft body
Yes to the curved body
Yes to the strong body
Yes to the social body
Yes to every body.
In this space we say
no to racism
no to sexism
no to transphobia
no to homophobia
no to ableism, harassment or bigotry of any kind.
Expect: Music (from opera to techno) / Light / Video / Movement / Effort / Thought. Those will be our tools of engagement.
Don’t worry – The Fool is a professional. We’ll remake our world one step at a time. All we need is practice.
