The corona virus forced us to continue the international project Dancing Museums II in a different way then we’re used to. Usually, dance houses and museums come together in a guest country, where they continue the research on the meaning of movement in museums. This time, the Barcelona team found a creative solution and decided to host all activities online.
This means you can take a look and have a sneak peek via YouTube. Click here for the online meeting about the role of the artist on YouTube. Click here for the online meeting about Education in Museums. And here you can watch the lecture about Moving in/out of the museum. And here you can read the report on the website of Dancing Museums.
Dancing Museums II is a European project in which museums and dance houses from different European countries work together. From Rotterdam, Dansateliers is participating in collaboration with Museum Boijmans van Beuningen. Choreographer Ingrid Berger Myhre researches movement for two years in Museum Boijmans van Beuningen for this project.
