Every Monday evening you can engage with the emerging choreographers connected to Dansateliers. By the use of physical exercises and tasks they will take you along an exploration in improvisation, performance and body-awareness. Professional dancer, amateur or never seen a dancefloor before? No problem, the lesson is open for everyone.
This week’s Movement Class guest teacher is Amparo González Sola.
Amparo González Sola is an Argentinian choreographer and dancer based in The Netherlands. She creates works varying from dance performances to participative projects from a feminist activist perspective and influences by her experience of migration.
She collaborates regularly with other artists, researchers, and activists. She is a member of the Cultural Common Lab (Utrecht). Her work is supported by several Dutch and international institutions.
