Get to know the choreographic talent of Dansateliers during the movement class. Through physical assignments, you collectively explore your own body and movement possibilities. The Movement Class is open to anyone interested in movement, body awareness, choreography, and dance.
To kick off 2024 on a positive note, we have invited one of our associates for the first Movement Class: Connor Schumacher!
Connor is known for his performance and recent tour Funny Soft Happy & The Opposite, as well as previous therapy sessions based on raving.
Connor Schumacher is interested in what dance used to be, what dance is, and what dance could be. Within that, he sees room for a revolutionary idea. So, let’s keep moving.
Connor Schumacher is a dance artist and artistic director of Stichting ARK, where he produces raves, movement classes, and performances with the aim of getting people in motion. It is his deep conviction that our society would be better off if we danced every day. Connor is also one of the associate artists of Dansateliers.
