On June 18, Andreas Hannes and his team will perform their first try-out of his new work Anthology.
Anthology is an energetic and mesmerising journey. A celebration of motion, and of everything that keeps us moving.
What is Anthology?
At the center of Anthology is skipping. Dancers set in motion an uninterrupted flow of rhythm and movement. What begins as light and recognizable grows into a swirling choreography in which bodies accelerate, shift, and converge: a physical exercise in continuing to move.
Set to lightning-fast pop mashups, with dozens of hits flowing into one another, a physical translation of our times emerges. Fragments of dance styles, images and memories flash by, from folk to hip-hop, from club to ballet.
The stage constantly changes shape, from dance floor to sports ground, from ice rink to ballroom.
During this evening, Andreas will perform the show with the full cast in front of an audience for the very first time. We hope our community can join us for this special evening, and we warmly invite you to share your thoughts afterwards about what you have seen.
