During One Night’s Dance, five novice dance artists take up the challenge to develop a new piece in a short time. For this project Dansateliers has been working closely with Lloydscompany and independent dramaturge Merel Heering since April 2021.
By pushing boundaries, developing concepts, challenging bodies and fusing forms, energetic and unpolished new work is created in seven weeks. From 8 to 11 December and from 15 to 18 December they will present their work to the public.
This year’s participating makers are: Yoko Haveman, Cicely Wijnaldum, Simon Granit Ossoinak, Redouan Hergelink and Vanildo Varela.
