No Dreams, No Gold

No Dreams, No Gold could be a performance about sleep, structure, the execution of one’s own material, digressions, wet dreams and electroacoustic music, absence, how and when you drink coffee, the ordinary and the extraordinary.

Funny and heartwarming: the work of Ingrid Berger Myhre and Lasse Passage always leaves you in a better state. In No Dreams, No Gold, the duo once again explores the conventions of music and dance in their idiosyncratic manner.

Ingrid Berger Myhre is a Norwegian dance artist based in Brussels. She holds an MA in Choreography: Research and Performance from ex.e.r.ce CCN Montpellier and has attended Research Studios at P.A.R.T.S. As a former amateur percussionist, she is now contemplating a comeback or retirement.

Composer and musician Lasse Passage began studying composition at the Grieg Academy in Bergen and completed his BA in Sonology at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague. Lasse takes napping very seriously.
Ingrid and Lasse have diverse experiences and perspectives, but they share the negotiating space that emerges when they meet at the periphery of their own expertise. Their friendship is an intrinsic part of their artistic material, to which they generously grant the audience access. Their work is deeply personal yet grounded.
