Conny Janssen Danst provides opportunities for young talent through DANSLOKAAL, the talent development project where young artists are invited to develop new work together with the dancers of Conny Janssen Danst.
In its annual DANSLOKAAL, artistic director Conny Janssen, selects promising choreographers with diverse backgrounds in collaboration with Dansateliers and Korzo. The contributors to DANSLOKAAL 9 are choreographers Ian Anchetas (Dansateliers), Astrid Boons (Korzo) and Rhys Dennis en Waddah Sinada (Conny Janssen Danst). The result is a surprising dance evening with three new pieces, created for and with the dancers of Conny Janssen Danst. After a series of performances in the studio in Rotterdam, Conny Janssen Danst provides a nationwide platform to the young choreographers.
