Marta & Kim will present their work ‘Another Moment Ago’ from DANSLOKAAL 11 during De Parade.
DANSLOKAAL is an annual talent development project by Conny Janssen Danst in collaboration with Dansateliers and Korzo. During the project, three young makers are given the opportunity to develop new work for and with the dancers of Conny Janssen Danst.
In 2023, the Norwegian/Dutch duo Marta & Kim were selected to develop a new choreography in collaboration with three dancers from the Rotterdam company. In “Another Moment Ago,” they blend circus and dance into an experience of slowing down, speeding up, zooming in and out to capture moments in time.
A performance with “undeniably acrobatic figures that increase the risk of certain configurations, giving them a dangerous edge in this controlled and beautifully synchronized execution,” according to Theaterkrant.
