Stina Fors is a punk band. She sometimes kills with a powerful voice, sometimes seduces until exhaustion. She uses the live act to suggest poetical circumstances where her central question is: What are the possible epiphanies of the sounding body?
At the moment, she is preparing a call that may be rejected by the possibilities of silence. The refusal may itself be neither obvious nor dramatic. It may lurk in the trivial response, in speech that is empty and inane.
This creation is developed as part of the Moving Forward Trajectory, an initiative of Dansmakers Amsterdam and Dansgroep Amsterdam in collaboration with Dansateliers, DansBrabant, Random Collision and De Nieuwe Oost.
