Eliana Stragapede & Borna Babić are looking for 6 professional dancers with strong physical and theatrical skills, open to fully immerse themself into their creative practice. Their work is based on physical-theater exploration – the connection between intention/emotion and movement. Furthermore, they are inspired by discovering different body textures, imagery and partnering work.
During this laboratory of 3 days, the aim is to create a safe and open space of exchange. Through different physical and theatrical ideas, we will further dwell into their choreographic universe, investigate our own individuality and develop strong sensibility for detail and authenticity in performativity.
Their performance AMAE was awarded on The Copenhagen International Choreography Competition 2022 with the 1st place for the Choreography and Production Awards by Nederlands Dans Theater and Holstebro Dansekompagni. Furthermore, at Rotterdam International Choreographic Competition 2023, it got awarded with Partner Awards by Codarts and Dansateliers. For next season they have been commissioned to create new work for NDT2 and Bayerisches Staatsballett Munich.

Participation fee
All participants will receive €65,- per day during the practice.
