In August, three talented makers will start with DANSLOKAAL 6 by Conny Janssen Danst. For the coming edition Dansateliers invited choreographer Ingrid Berger Myhre to take part in the project. She will, along side Tu Hoang (Conny Janssen Danst) and Dunja Jocic (Korzo), develop a new performance for and with the dancers of Conny Janssen Danst company. Between the 6th of September and 11th of October 2018 the brand new pieces will be presented in the studio of Conny Janssen Danst and the theatre tour that follows.
Dansateliers invited Ingrid to take part in the project because of her excellent view on combining text, dance, image and sound and the intelligent way she combines these elements in her work, making it accessible to a wide audience. You might know Ingrid from previous projects she developed under our umbrella like CURRENT (2013), STAFF (2014), SUPPLIES (2016) and her recent production BLANKS (2017) that was selected for the international platform Aerowaves Twenty18. In addition to the new creation for DANSLOKAAL 6, this autumn she will start a new research for Panflutes and Paperwork in collaboration with composer Lasse Passage Nøsted.
