Marta & Kim are looking for experienced dancers and circus artists with a strong physical presence and technical ability.
Marta & Kim are working on their new performance FLUX (working title), where they will explore the relation between chaos and form and how we navigate between surrendering and searching for control. Marta and Kim work at the intersection of contemporary dance and circus, blending virtuosity and body language to tell stories through movement.
We are looking for experienced dancers and circus artists with a strong physical presence and technical ability. Performers who are versatile, comfortable with working in both acrobatic and dance-based contexts, and who can engage with abstract concepts while bringing their own individuality and creativity to the process. Rehearsals will start early next year 2025 with a premiere in the autumn.
We will conclude the planning in conversation with the performers. It is based on 15 rehearsal weeks, 4 days per week in Rotterdam. It is preferred that you live in the area around Rotterdam.
Marta & Kim are searching for a total of 2 additional performers, who meet the following conditions:
• HBO level circus or dance trained
• Relevant stage experience is highly valued
•.Experience and talent for partnering, but also able to execute solo material
• Able to commute to our studio space at Dansateliers Rotterdam (we can’t provide accommodation during rehearsals)
• Availability for rehearsals and touring.

Due to the size of the studio we can only invite a limited group of participants. The audition will be divided into two rounds. You will hear whether you are invited for the first round by the 25th of November.
First round: Saturday 7th of December from 10:30 to 16:00 at dansateliers in Rotterdam. In the evening you will be informed if you will go through to the second round.
Second round: Sunday 8th of December from 10:30 to 16:00 at dansateliers in Rotterdam.
