The three choreographers invited for DANSLOKAAL 8 together with the dancers of the company of Conny Janssen Danst have started rehearsals. DANSLOKAAL is an annual project organised by Conny Janssen Danst in collaboration with Korzo and Dansateliers.
Dansateliers invited dance artist Andreas Hannes to create a short choreography. You might know him already if you have seen his previous works Tremble (2019) and The City (2018), in which he turns skipping into a form of art. For DANSLOKAAL 8, he will work with the dancers of Conny Janssen Danst, to investigate a next step in his choreographic career.
Antonin Rioche (Korzo) and Dalton Jansen (Conny Janssen Danst) are the other two choreographers invited to create a work for DANSLOKAAL 8. It looks like it will be a promising and varied evening with three new pieces!
After a series of performances in Rotterdam in the studio of ‘ Huis Conny Janssen Danst’ in September, DANSLOKAAL will be touring through the Netherlands.
