RIDE OR DIE

In RIDE OR DIE (2027) Sheree dives beneath the surface of love and relationships. Because what we feel doesn’t come from nowhere. It is shaped by history. Three performers move between hip-hop, African and Caribbean diasporic movement, and contemporary dance. Their bodies carry this history while searching for a way through it.

Sons of the Soil

For the thirteenth edition of DANSLOKAAL, creative partner Dansateliers contributed Sheree Lenting: with two dancers she created Sons of the Soil (2025). In Sons of the Soil two young man take the audience on a journey into adulthood. Instead of looking at masculinity from within and trying to explain this outwards this performance asks the audience to collectively look at the complexities, beauty and layers of it.
