Every Monday evening you can engage with the emerging choreographers connected to Dansateliers. By the use of physical exercises and tasks they will take you along an exploration in improvisation, performance and body-awareness. Professional dancer, amateur or never seen a dancefloor before? No problem, the lesson is open for everyone.
This week, Mariona Vinyes Ràfols is the guest teacher for the Movement Class.
Mariona is a choreographer and performer who works as part of a creative duo with Mireia. Drawing from their experiences as immigrants and project-based artists, they share their stories.
Mariona and Mireia will open HBS Fest from June 27–29 at Dansateliers with their performance The Moving Ground.
The Moving Ground takes the audience on a layered journey where different forms of movement converge: physical movement, literal relocation, and internal shifts.
