Amparo González Sola is an argentinian choreographer and dancer based in The Netherlands. Her work goes from dance performance to participative projects. She did the master DAS Choreography (AHK, 2022).
She recently premiered “The conspiracy of forms” (2023), and “If every rock is a hole” (2022) both within the Spring Performing Arts Festival. She develops the participative-research project “Exploring Reciprocity” from 2019, in which she brings together people from different backgrounds, generations, and disciplines. She facilitates workshops in several local and international contexts.
Her work as a teacher develops within a multidisciplinary perspective. It intertwines her education as a dancer, her studies of philosophy, studies on fascia (connective tissue) and on high performance sport training. In her classes she promotes the emergence of personal dances, through the perception of one’s own body and the encounter with others. She has called her methodology of training and movement research: “Tensegrity Training”.
