Bo Jacobs

Bo Jacobs (Heerlen, 1999) is an expressionist rooted in dance and choreography. Trained at Fontys School of the Arts (Contemporary Urban), she began shaping an authentic movement language that merges physical precision with emotional depth. After graduation, she danced with Elephant in the Black Box Company (FR), Nürnberg Ballet (DE), Wayne McGregor (La Biennale Danza Venezia, IT), Snorkel Rabbit Company (CH), and IID Company (NL).

Alongside her work as a dancer, she has been developing her choreographic voice through creations such as Vicious (Staatstheater Nürnberg 2021), LIMP (Amsterdam Fringe Festival 2024), The Great Forgetting (Hannover Ballett 2024), Unveiling Echoes (Nederlandse Dans Dagen 2025), Huidschrift (Schrittmacher Festival 2025), and Niet Prikken! (Auf Dem Sprung 2025). Her artistry uses movement as a carrier of meaning – often expanded through text, music, or scenography. It carries the courage to move beyond aesthetics and to invite the audience not just to watch, but to feel, question, and transform.

From February 5–8 and 12–15, Bo will present her new work alongside other emerging makers to the public during One Night’s Dance.
