Marta & Kim will create a work for DANSLOKAAL in 2023.
DANSLOKAAL is an annual talent development project by Conny Janssen Danst in collaboration with Dansateliers and Korzo. During the project, three young makers are given the opportunity to develop new work for and with the dancers of Conny Janssen Danst. At the invitation of Dansateliers, Marta & Kim will be participating in DANSLOKAAL 11 this year. Rutkay Özpinar (Korzo) and Patricia van Deutekom (Conny Janssen Danst) will also be participating.

Another Moment Ago delves into our awareness of time. Is time something personal, a collective feeling, or is it our consciousness that determinates the rhythm? Do our mind travels take us into the future, or do we stay anchored in the past? To capture moments in time, Marta and Kim take you on a journey on which stages of acceleration and deceleration, zooming in and zooming out alternate.
DANSLOKAAL is a surprising evening of dance with three new works, danced by the familiar faces and the new young dancers of Conny Janssen Danst. Discover the dance makers of the future in the intimate environment of the studio at Huis Conny Janssen Danst in Rotterdam or during the tour along various theatres in the Netherlands.
