Chameleon (film)

In his first dance film Le Faune, the camera took on the perspective of a peeping and withdrawn faun. In this second film Chameleon, Joseph Simon turns the camera around to film this lonesome creature, embodied in a chameleon. Its body is twisting of desire and ambiguity, searching or chasing after something. In an attempt to visually transmit the visceral, the camera dives under and into the textures of the skin.
