It is with great pleasure that Dansateliers invites choreographer Liam Francis and his artistic colleague Clark Avery Griffin for a residency in our house.
They are the winners of the Partner Awards, presented during RIDCC 2022. It consists of a two-week research residency in our studios with dramaturgical coaching by the Dansateliers team. This residency is part of the Partner Award that Dansateliers (as a partner of the RIDCC) offered.
About Liam Francis – Where to start, RIDCC 2022, motivation of Dansateliers:
“Charmed by the playfulness of the proposal and the felt movement research done, we were drawn into the work by the contagious physicality of both performers. The use of their fully engaged, yet loose and fluid bodies revealed a sensitive collaboration, showing a narrative through dance and playful and teasing behavior. This particular work caught our eye, made us curious and sparked our desire to start a conversation. It is with great joy that Dansateliers invites choreographer Liam Francis and collaborator Clark Avery Griffin with ‘Where to start’ for an in-house residency.”
