De Franse choreograaf Robin Lamothe volgende een opleiding aan de Conservatoire Regional en het CNSMD in Lyon, Frankrijk. Gedurende zijn dans-opleiding ontwikkelde hij een passie voor choreografie en initieerde hij verschillende projecten als Du moment que quelqu’un parle, il fait clair (2013) en CECAROU (2014) in samenwerking met Fine Arts in Lyon, FR. Na zijn afstuderen in 2015 richt hij zich volledig op zijn werk als maker. Samen met Lisa Bicherav richt hij het AUM collective op waarmee hij o.a. Juno Sospita maakt. Als zelfstandige choreograaf werkt hij onder de naam Collective/less. Zijn eerste voorstelling Mémoire d’un Oubli gaat begin 2019 in première.
French choreographer Robin Lamothe followed his education at the Conservatoire Regional and the CNSMD of Lyon, France. During his studies he developed a true taste for choreography through different personal projects such as Du moment que quelqu’un parle, il fait clair (2013) and CECAROU (2014) with the Beaux Arts in Lyon. With a DNSP dancer’s diploma and a Licence Arts du Spectacle (Performance arts degree) achieved in 2015, he launches fully into the creative world: he founds the AUM collective with Lisa Bicherav and together they create Juno Sospita. As an independent maker he creates under the name of Collective/less and his first piece Mémoire d’un Oubli will premier in January 2019.
During the first edition of the International Rotterdam Duet Choreography competitie in 2018 he was selected by Kristin De Groot (Dansateliers) for a short residency for his work-in-progress Mémoire d’un Oubli.
