Just van Bommel born 1999 in Groningen is a very unique boy. He went to the Toneelacademie in Maastricht and was taught the basics of viewpoints and movement at De Noorderlingen. Currently at his school, he is being taught by great, grand & fierce movers like Roshanak Morrowtian, Mami Izumi, Guilherme Miotto, Ricardo Anemaet, Karolien Verlinden to name a few. In his work Jim enjoys playing with how precise one can move. His interest in movement dynamics also come forward in his piece “A rose is a rose is a rose”. He created this piece together with his partner, Jim Buskens, as part of One Night’s Dance 2021.
