Engage with emerging dance makers of today, peek into their way of thinking and search for movement languages during the weekly Movement Classes. The movement class is a research laboratory: a great possibility to understand your body better and research and develop your own movement qualities in a professional environment.

The Movement Classes in Dansateliers are lessons in improvisation, performance and body-awareness. Professional dancer, amateur or never seen a dancefloor before? No problem, the lesson is open for everyone.

Movement classes are open to anyone interested  in dance, both professional and amateur. The class is taught by one of the choreographers who is working in Dansateliers studio. The research labs are improvisation based with a focus on the personal research and choreographic interests of the maker.

The movementclasses are inspired by the successfull format of working that Random Collision in Groningen has initiated a couple of years ago.
