From 20-22 February this festival for contemporary dance presents itself for the fifth time in Theater Rotterdam – location Schouwburg and the Pauluskerk with three premières. Moving Futures Festival in Rotterdam starts with three premières. Ingrid Berger Myhre & Lasse Passage present their work Panflutes & Paperwork. Ibon Salvador Bikandi and Joseph Simon show their performances BLUR #1 (Ibon Salvador Bikandi) and Chameleon (Joseph Simon) in a double program.
Female solos | February 21st
The second day of Moving Futures in Rotterdam is dedicated to solos made by female choreographers. Heather Ware and Hilde Elbers present The Beauty of Falling Apart in the Pauluskerk. After that you can visit Theater Rotterdam – location Schouwburg, for the double program Fading Fire by Lois Alexander and Hope & Heavy Metal by Sigrid Stigsdatter Mathiassen.
Experimental and visual | February 22st
For Die Verwandlung, Sophie Mayeux won in 2016 the Choreography Award at the ITs Festival. Together with Emotional Porn by Keren Rosenberg and Tony Markus Sacharias, the performance can now be seen in a strong visual double program.
