Step into the world of choreography and dance-creation during the studiopresentations in Dansateliers.
On November 16, 17 and 18 choreographer Ingrid Berger Myhre and composer Lasse Passage Nøsted present their work-in-progress Panflutes and Paperworks. In the duet they take existing expectations around ”creating music for dance” or ”dancing to music” as a starting point. Light-heartedly, they investigate the conventional relationship between the disciplines by challenging standardised ideas. Panflutes and Paperwork will have its première in March 2019 as part of the Moving Futures Festival in Rotterdam.
Choreographer Joseph Simon presents new steps of a funky duet-in-progress in which he connects elements from classical ballet with movement styles like house, hiphop and dancehall.
