Kevin Cregan danced for many years as a soloist with the Dutch National Ballet. Since leaving he has worked as a freelance dancer, performer, choreographic assistant and teacher. He has worked with William Forsythe, in Ballet Frankfurt, with Lines Contemporary Ballet and Kunst-Stoff in San Francisco, Unterwegs Theatre in Germany and as assistant choreographer to Meryl Tankerd in London. In 2010 he will perform the speaking role in Forsythe’s full length “Artifact” with the Barische Staatsballett, Munich.
He has been Guest Ballet Teacher for The Forsythe Company, Netherlands Dance Theatre, and the D.A.N.C.E. program mentored by Forsythe, Prejlocaj, McGregor and Flamand. He had taught at most of the contemporary dance companies in Holland and at the Lines Contemporary Ballet in the USA. He is a regular guest at Codarts in Rotterdam and ArtEZ in Arnhem and in 2010 he will guest teach with Culberg Ballet in Sweden.
Kevin is also Certified Practitioner of the Feldenkrais Method, which has given him a unique understanding of Postural Alignment, Force Transmission and the role of Intention and Sensory Awareness in the development and training of dancers. Kevin also provides private coaching sessions to dancers with persistent injuries that have failed to respond to traditional treatment or coaching.
Carmen Rozestraten trained in the Netherlands and worked as a teacher or rehearsal director for De Nieuwe Dansgroep, Artemis Kunstcentrum, Scapino Ballet, and the Henny Jurriëns Stichting. She was one of the founding members of ‘Lines’, the company of Alonzo King in San Francisco.
